Since I decided to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, I didn’t have to prep the piece at all {other than wiping off the dirt}! Yay for no sanding!!! I painted all of the wood on the cubby, skipping the backer piece. I had planned on lining the back of the openings with some pretty paper, but the brown against the grey is actually growing on me.
Currently, I am in search of the perfect hooks to hang in the coat cubbies since it didn’t come with any.
This is the perfect piece of furniture for the play room; how great do the bright toy colors stand out? And I love how well the Paris Grey goes with the Benjamin Moore Wythe Blue wall color {completely unplanned}.
