Normally, each year I genuinely try to give each holiday its special time in the spotlight. I keep my Fall and Thanksgiving decor up until Black Friday when I break out the Christmas decorations and go wild! But this year I find myself stressing a little more due to the fact that I’m going to be ready-to-pop during the standard Christmas season. So for the past few weeks I have been breaking my rules a little bit and working on making and setting up some of my Christmas decorations. It feels a little odd knowing that we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving surrounded by some Winter stuff, but hey – it is what it is right? Plus I think deep in my heart I would have Christmas decorations up at least half of the year if it would be considered socially acceptable.
