Check out the floor plan below to get a better idea of the home’s flow. (My favorite area was the basement).

My favorite element of the formal dining room were these fantastic chairs. The fabric and nailhead trim gave them a more traditional feel, while the metal head chairs added a modern vibe.

Mom always needs a place to keep the household organized, and this desk area off the kitchen is a great place to do just that!

This family room had a ton of great design details. I love how the space feels (and looks) high-end while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming vibe.

This morning room is one of my favorite areas from all the homes. At first glance it appears to be a well thought out space with a lot of light and some nice traditional accents. Until you look more closely at the chandelier – which is made from recycled glass bottles! (Plus, you can never go wrong with beams on the ceiling).

OK, I had to throw in a detail shot of the light fixture. It’s so amazing, and I want one for myself!

This master bedroom is seriously perfection. From the tray ceiling detail to the window above the bed – everything has been planned with detail. I love the calming neutral palette and all of the textures they’ve incorporated.

The master bedroom also had a cozy fireplace and comfortable seating area for relaxing in the evenings … who wouldn’t want that?

This isn’t a huge space by current standards, but they did a wonderful job in the space planning which allowed for a seating area for two.

I vote for a basement bar like this in my next home! They got every detail right … from the incredible lighting fixtures to the fabulous grey nail-head trim bar stools!

The basement incorporated a game area complete with pool table, and to maximize seating, they added this built-in bench area. What a great idea for entertaining … and the stools are a nice added touch.

So, here’s the “man’s room.” I really appreciate the idea of incorporating a separate room just for the guys to hang out in. I’m pretty sure my husband would spend all of his time in here!

No basement entertainment area is complete without a theater room. They did a great job making this a fun and comfortable family space. It was really like another living area for the family to enjoy.

One of the things I appreciated most about the basement was this sort of “foyer” area. The stairwell down was split to have this entry area, and I think it really helped make the space feel less like a basement.

Here’s a shot of the family room from upstairs. The drapes hanging from the second-floor really make the space feel huge.

The girl’s room was a bit much for me with the purple ombre paint all around … but these triangle shelves really caught my attention. So beautiful!

My favorite part of the loft was the built-in homework stations on either side of the tv media cabinet.

Here’s a closeup of the homework area. I love the organization and the built-in look of the space. If only real children could keep it looking like this!
What was your favorite part of this M/I home?
Sam, where did you get the rug in the master bedroom from?
This was just a tour of homes I took, so I’m not sure where the rug is from
Who is the builder of this home? It is absolutely beautiful. If I had to think of my dream home. This is it!
Isn’t it gorgeous?! The builder is M/I Homes
Where did you purchase the side lamps in the master bedroom and can they be purchased online as I’m in Sydney Australia.
I’m not sure – this isn’t my house it was home tour I took last year.
Did you ever find out where the rug in the master bedroom is from. I’ve searched and searched.
What’s the size of the window above the bed in the master bedroom?
I’m not sure Lyn! It was just a home I toured, but you could probably show the photo to a window company for a good idea of sizing
Anyone know where you can find those nightstands in the master bathroom?
I don’t unfortunately … but I believe I’ve seen similar at places like Home Goods
OMG, I tried to choose what I like best, but it’s impossible, because I love it all.
Hi! Where can I find the kitchen desk cabinet?
