Mood Board: Emerald Aisle

I’m sure many of you have seen the Pantone Color Report for Spring 2013.The colors are amazing: bright, vibrant, and full of life. I love them! If you haven’t seen them, here they are.

To die for, huh? It makes me SO ready to decorate for Spring! I love the departure from the normal Spring pastels. These colors are almost good enough to eat {I’m thinking lemons, grapes, apples, oranges, blueberries, etc.}! With all of these amazing colors, I’m sure it was difficult to pick the 2013 Color of the Year, but they have…and it’s Emerald! Gorgeous!

In honor of this announcement, I have decided to kick off my first Mood Board Monday with ‘Emerald Aisle’. Emerald is a sophisticated, yet cheerful, color. It’s also very calming for me; offset with darker neutrals & bright yellows, it really brings balance to a space. I am also loving it paired with metals. Usually, I am a blue kind of girl, but I am really feeling the Emerald. I hope you enjoy, and if you use the Emerald Aisle mood board to inspire you, I’d love to see pictures!
