Lately, I’ve been trying to workout at least 5 days per week. It really is addicting once you get into a habit, and I love it! Right now, I haven’t been doing crazy workouts that are completely draining my body, but I’m working up to more difficult things. It’s so important to make sure the body has enough nutrients to fuel your workouts, and to recover after. So here are a few good things to eat before & after an intense workout session.
Before a Workout
Whole Wheat Toast w/Sliced Banana & Cinnamon
Greek Yogurt & Trail Mix
Smoothies
Oatmeal with Fresh Fruit
Apple Wedges with Almond Butter
After a Workout
Grilled Chicken & Mixed Vegetables
Veggie Omelet with Avocado
Salmon with Sweet Potato
Whole Wheat Tuna, Hummus & Spinach Sandwich
Chocolate Milk
