Moving into this house has made me realize how much open, empty wall space we have and how little art work we own. Thank goodness for Pinterest, providing ideas like these affordable scrapbook paper wall hangings.

Here’s how to make your own Scrapbook Paper Wall Decor
Tools & Equipment:
4 12×12″ canvas
4 pieces of coordinating scrapbook papers
Mod Podge
Foam brush
*Note: Since my formal living room ‘theme’ is black and white, I chose to leave the edges of the canvas unpainted. However, if you’d like to bring a pop of color into your room, paint the edges of your canvas with a color that matches your paper choice.
1. Using your foam brush, wipe Mod Podge around the edges of the front of the canvas {as seen below}. You can spread Mod Podge all over the canvas, but it will make your paper to appear more ‘wrinkly’.
2. Some of your paper edges will most likely stick out past the canvas edge. Using Mod Podge, glue the paper edges down around the sides of the canvas.
That’s it! You’re done with your easy & affordable wall decor.
Do you have some fun, affordable wall decor you’d like to share? I’d love to see!
