How was everyone’s 4th of July?! Ours was wonderfully low-key. The husband’s brother & his wife came over for the day; we lounged around watching Hardcore Pawn & The Other Guys. Boy it was WAY to hot to be outside! At one point the temperature reached 103 degrees. I can’t handle that. {Just heard on the news that it was the 2nd hottest 4th on record} whew!
We had a delicious dinner of grilled Creole Steak, Fresh Steamed Green Beans, and 30-Minute Rolls with Funfetti Cake Dip for dessert {recipes coming soon}. Mmm!
The husband just requested one thing to go with our steaks…Yum Yum Sauce {a.k.a. Japanese Steakhouse Shrimp Sauce}
I had to indulge him as it’s one of my favorite things to eat…not the best for me I’m sure but oh so delicious. Don’t worry ladies – it’s only 2 WW+ points! We, honestly, use this sauce on everything…it’s good on steaks, chicken, rice, vegetables, etc. Anything.
It has taken me a lot of tries to get to this recipe. There are so many different recipes for this sauce online and I’ve taken a few, mixed ingredients, and come up with what I believe is a perfect yum yum sauce.
