As much as I loved having this for my inspiration, I knew the photo booth needed to be somewhat cost-effective. There was no way we could use fabric for the backing, and I made everything myself.
Thank goodness for Michael’s! They had the perfect wrapping paper in a robin’s egg blue/mint color which matched the theme perfectly. Two rolls ended up being $6.00; this gave me an area of approximately 5’x5′. I would recommend getting three rolls, because when we tried to fit a larger group of people in the area was too narrow.
I also purchased a roll of white shipping paper at Michael’s and free-hand sketched the elephant {he matched all the party printables}. The ceilings were too high for us to hang poufs down, so I improvised and used some pink crepe paper draped at the top to create additional interest in the photos.
I made and/or printed all of the props for the photo booth to help save costs as well. The two signs say “I {heart} Izzy” and “Welcome Home Isabelle Jean Miller.”
The glasses, mustaches, lips and word bubbles I taped to lollipop sticks.
I think the mustaches were definitely the biggest hit…who doesn’t love a good mustache, right?!
The husband mentioned that I might have gone a little crazy with the word bubbles. I just couldn’t help myself and it was getting pretty late so I thought I was hilarious! Here are a few that aren’t pictured:
“I’ve got the moves like Jagger”
“Please don’t tag me in the photos”
“I’m sexy and I know it”
“Mommy” & “Daddy”
I also had this super-fun photo booth sign that lent sort of a vintage flair to the booth. {Yep definitely didn’t realize until just now that the hand is pointing away from the photo booth…oh well}.
I simply took a frame from my photo wall at home, backed the sign with some glittered minty scrapbook paper and placed it in the frame. {Scroll to the bottom of this post for a FREE download of the photo booth sign}.
I know after all of this, you really just want to see some fun photo booth pictures!
Thanks to Anita with Third Sky Photography for taking these pictures for us – they’re awesome!
Little man loved those glasses!
This is four generations…baby Izzy, Mommy, Grandma, and Great-Grandma. I love that she will forever have a silly reminder of her fun party & family.
(Izzy is wearing the onesie I made her)
What a beautiful, happy family! It was a blast getting to celebrate their rainbow baby!

I wasn’t able to get the page to load for the photo booth sign, and it’s the one I have been looking all over for to use for my son’s birthday next weekend. Is there another link to access it, or would you be able to e-mail the PDF to me?
The “Step Right Up” sign? It seems to be loading for me…here’s the link for it:
